State: roads, state parks, police departments. Federal : national parks , war .

They also pay for law enforcement (police, sheriff and deputies), fire departments, education (teacher salaries, books, schools, etc.), various government and public services, to name a few.

For every dollar the publicly owned Federal Bank loans the Government. there is a interest on that money. War increases that Debt and that's why No war has every been fought to Win just to prolong it. that equals DEBT and debt equals slavery and the federal tax goes to pay that Debt and there is No law that says you have to pay that tax! Its completely unconditional! and no one has to legally pay it.

I disagree with Metropolis on several accounts, however here is the biggest point of contention. The Constitution states in the 16th Amendment:

Amendment 16 - Status of Income Tax Clarified. Ratified 2/3/1913.

The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.

I've got an idea, pot heads wants pot to be legalized right, why don't the gov't sell drugs. This would kill 2 birds with 1 stone, gov't would make millions and hopefully the drug addicts that gets foodstamps and social security checks has an overdose, then that's one less to worry about our federal tax dollars going to. Other than that our tax dollars that goes towards roads, parks, education, law enforcement, military, and such I don't mind paying for. I hate to work my ask off and someone that lied and to get a ssi check along with foodstamps and a medical card, just sits around doing drugs......

Taxes don't actually pay for anything. They go to the Federal Reserve, which is a private owned corporation, not run by the government.
