I would suggest:
Breakfast:
a fruit (citrus are great! Oranges, grapefruit, ect. really keep you wide awake!)
ditch the coffee (coffee leads to heart problems, migraines, and younger death. Try milk instead!)
a meat (sausages are okay....turkey bacon is fine! Corned beef hash is one of my favorites, and remember eggs!)
a little starch (bread with that sausage, swirl on some cream cheese! strawberries with your cereal, brighten up that English muffin with an egg! starch isn't so great, but it fills one up!)
Lunch:
veggies! (try carrot or cucumber sticks dipped in organic Caesar dressing! it's addicting. also, buttered broccoli gently steamed and rice with Feta cheese and spinach cooked in are one of my favorites, too!)
a slab of meat (put some turkey in that sandwich, a juicy steak on the grill, or a hamburger on that bun! meat is the best!)
a fresh fruit (whether it's a luscious peach, a fresh, tart apple, or a bowl of berries topped with whipped cream, we all need fruit. it tastes good, too! rotate different kinds of fruit with every meal)
a little more starch (baked potatoes, corn on the cob, wheat bread, and french fries may seem more healthy, but they are really just starch, which can be a ticket to some obesity, but it's okay to have some Ritz crackers with cheese or a potato chip once in a while!!!)
dairy!!!! (a glass of milk!)
Dinner
pretty much the same above! once a week, treat yourself to a dessert!
Food that is nutritious is full of natural substances that your body needs to stay healthy or grow well.
Nutritious means high in nutrition.
a food at which is good for one's health.
Nutrient dense foods are those that provide a large amount of nutrients relative to a low amount of calories.
Some examples of healthy nutrient dense foods are most fruits and vegetables. Some specific examples are strawberries, carrots, spinach, oranges, grapefruit, brocolli, and tomatoes.
Foods that contain high amounts of sugar, saturated fats, and processed ingredients are not nutrient dense and contain "empty calories", meaning not many nutrients but a large amount of calories.
Some foods that may be more nutrient dense than typical empty calorie foods are whole grain bread instead of white bread, whole grain pasta instead of white pasta, and 100% Orange Juice instead of concentrated juice.
