Well your boyfriend ignoring your phone calls can mean many different things. Right now, think with a level head. First off, don't call him as much right now. Give him some time and space to call you back. If you notice he didn't call you back that day, it doesn't mean something bad. Maybe he was preoccupied with something else. It's always good to trust your partner.
Lets say, he doesn't call you back even the next night. Just give him a ring one, at most twice. NO MORE. Listen to how many times it rings. If it rings once or twice and suddenly goes to voice mail, then there may be something fishy going on. If it rings continuously then just be a bit weary but not too much,
If you notice that the third night, you have yet to receive any contact from him, call him and leave a voice message. Tell him you wish to speak to him and it's important. If and when he calls back you ask him what's been going on. If he says something was bothering him be understanding and tell him that you are there for him and just wish that he would've informed you that he needed space. Be understanding.
If he still hasn't called you back after the voicemail, just leave him. It's not worth the waiting and pondering. Life is too short to wait around for some one. Good luck!
