∙ 12y agoThe aloe vera plant actually has more than just one use. The plants inner gel is used to topically treat sunburns and dry skin. The gel also balances skin and hair ph levels as well- More than a few cosmetics manufacturers have included aloe in their products ingredient lists because of this. It can also be ingested or taken orally to treat constipation because it acts as a gentle laxative. Some studies have even shown that aloe can be used to treat ulcers and other gastrointestinal disorders. Pretty useful stuff. sites like aloevera.com have even more info.
