I grew Mammoth Sunflowers from seeds. The flowers smell sweet, like candy or sugar, but you have to get your nose up close. That means competing with the bees that LOVE them and are important for pollinating. I LOVE their scent, and found it to be quite intoxicating.

It has a very light scent... so little that most think its not really scented no

Sunflowers have very little scent. After they are fully mature, the seeds give off a light nutty scent, but not really anything floral.
