Well, a PA mean when either the doctor or hygenist wants an xray of a particular tooth so they can see the root or check to see how well the procedure is going. Ex: When we do root canals we need a PA to check if the nerve was removed or not and other details. hey hey hey I hope your not an assistant lol

The PA stands for Professional Association. Think of the person as a business at this point. If something happens, you can sue the business, but not technically the person.
