What should you do when you have a boyfriend that you have doubts about?

Well mi boyfriend and i are 2 years apart. He told me when we got together not to tell anyone that we're together. At first i was like OK weird but OK and then i figured out that he didn't want his friends to know that he was dating a freshman and he's a junior. That's why I'm SO confused what should i do because i don't want to break up with him because i REALLY like him! ugh!

This can be a very touchy subject but I will attempt to do my best. When you're having doubts about something you have a belief that things may not work out, or something is going on that you don't exactly know about. Whether these may be what you could be thinking or not, doubts can be a good and a bad thing. Ask yourself how long you've been in a relationship with this person, whether you believe that there is a chance he will have an affair/has had one in the past, or if he is good looking enough to easily attract women and have lack of control over himself. If any of these are true, sit him down and have a small chat with him. If he is dodgy about anything, ask him why and if he fails to respond, tell him you two need a break, a take a couple of weeks off.

The good part about doubts is that normally it is healthy as you get to attune to what choices and personality styles you like.

You posted your question under abusive relationships, and that I'm slightly worried about; If there is any abuse going on, call a help line about it or if it is to the extreme, call the police. I'm hoping you just posted it because of the suggestion.

You should sit down with your boyfriend and talk about eveyting you are going threw. Tell him how you feel cause if you dont it well get worse and worse for you. than maybe you reget doing something later on. Tell him why are confused about your relationshikp. Once that is over have him respone to what you have said and ask him what he thinks about this whole thing, dont be scared to show you emotions.

i have the same problem.. i always seem to question my boyfriend.

It may be lack of trust or it may just be because you are curious and just don't want to loose him? it's quite normal though , most couples seem to question each other, but you have to watch what you say because your partner MAY get annoyed by being questioned all the time.

Confusion is usually a sign of break down in communication somewhere down the line so the best thing to do in this situation is to take a step back and re-evaluate why you feel this way and then plan out your next move - whether to stay in this relationship or not.
