What do you do if there is a shortage in your iPod and you can only hear out of 1 headphone?
you should try replacing your headphones before jumping to such expensive conclusion

My suggestion is get new earphones, but if you have tried other earphones and it still hasn't worked then you should go to best buy or somewhere that would know things about i…Pods and ask them to fix it. Another way that worked for me is to hit the earphone gently against the table and may shake the inside into place.
yes, but the others will hear the sounds of the strings.
Try force quitting the iPod application while it's open (hold down the power button, then when the restart screen shows up hold down the home button until the app exits). Othe…rwise, restart the device. Otherwise, plug in the device and restore it using iTunes.
No it will damage your hearing
I can't hear from the left side of my headphones on my laptop. I know that the headphones aren't the problem because they work on mt Ipod. Can someone please help?
Check out your Volume Control. The WAVE balance should be placed at the middle so that both sides of your earphones would work.
Maybe it's because you have a hole where the wires are.Or you just didn't plug it well. Hope this helped :D
This is a problem mainly cause by a bad headphone plug-in. Check the device you are plugging the headphones into. Try plugging the headphones into another device and see if yo…u get the same problem. If you do, then the headphones are probably just broken. Sorry :(
are you sure that your ipod is broken and its not just a blown out speaker? i suggest that you plug in someone else's earphones and try it. if it is till coming out of one ear…phone then take it to bestbuy or apple. they will usually fix stuff like that for free if you just act like youre really angry about it and argue if they say no.
It should be able to play sounds and all with or with headphones... Try holding down the power button and turn it off completely then, turn it back on. If it doesnt work, try …turning up the volume if that doesn't work either than take it to an apple store to see whats going on. ? Have a nice day!
Sony headphones are just as safe for hearing as any other type of headphone. It is not the headphones themselves that make them unsafe but the operation.
The shortage is usually in the cables, near to the connectors where it bends a lot. Sometimes even in the connector. Replace the cable, that can help. No guarantees though..
When i plug my headphones into my ipod i can only hear music through one ear. I have gone through several sets of headphones so it's definitely not the headphones that are broken. Any suggestions?
Best get it checked out by an authorised repairer as there is no volume equaliser for sound on the iPhone, or touch, unless you download an app that includes this feature, whi…ch might help you to determine or fix the problem.
Well if your computer doesnt have a built in speaker system, you can only use headphones or buds to hear it, unless you buy a speaker system that you can plug in.
As long as the headphones have a 3.5MM jack, the audio will work on almost all devices. The remote on Apple headphones usually don't work with other MP3s.
