They used to eat bread, butter, veggies, and they drank water. I'm pretty sure they just basically ate what they grew on their land, and when they had the money, would ocasionaly buy bread, or something quite expensive. Rich people often snacked on grapes, meat, olive oil, bread, fruits, etc. Hope I helped! :)

The poor atee fish, and bread. The rich ate more expensive meals like Lamb and Beef. All the greeks had honey in their houses; it was in almost every meal. Breakfast, Lunch, Snack, Dinner, Dessert. One dessert being honey cakes. That´s right, a cake made out of honey.
