Ringo joined the band in 1962, so before that, Paul,John, and George played with Pete Best as the drummer before Ringo. The screaming fans and Beatlemania and whatnot actually was beginning in that year, before Ringo joined.

They kicked Pete Best from the band because he refused to comb his hair forward, and he didn't have the picture they liked.

-They changed from the Quarrymen to the Siver Bearles to just The Beatles.

-They played in Shea Stadium for crowds of crazed fans.

-The Paul is dead idea kept everyone talkng.

-The sycadelic stage started. It's said George Martin & them started it.

-The Ed Sulivian show got 73 million veiwers for the Beatles performence.

-People in London herd the Beatles play on Apple Record's rooftop.

-Teens finted at concerts (wel,, I think that was already happening)

-The Bieber cut got thought about. Thanks a lot Beatles. >:(

-Legends were heard.

-About a thousand new songs were recorded, like 'Here Comes the Sun' and 'Sgt. Peppers'.

What they've always done - record songs and make albums. What they didn't do from 1966 to 1970, however, was tour. These were called the 'studio years'.
