he believe in the ideas of the philosopher Karl Marx in the beginning, that the peasants had the right to own land and to have a say in the government. Later he changed some ideas of Marx concerning "additional product" and so on, he proofed it as fiction.

Stalin & Marx didn't care about peasants he only cared about industrial workers. Stalin believed in Marxism and Leninism which means he believed that capitalism was evil and should be destroyed.

They also believe that the whole world should be socialist (where the government doesn't have a say in the country, but has a very big say in the economy and regulates it for the good of the world) they also believe the world should be run by the workers and capitalists should be reeducated, and capitalism should be destroyed, that people should be taught how to live peacefully and make many farms so starvation and poverty don't exist and finally make way for true communism which is the destruction of the state and were people live without a government and work because they want to not because they have to.

Stalin believed in socialism in one country, a belief Marx didn't share. he also believed in the aggravation of the classes from within, which is his idea that the country and the party will turn on their brothers and restore capitalism, so he should take complete control of the country and make sure that doesn't happen. he also liked to be worshiped, he hated religion (as did all Marxist's. he believed in making the USSR great. he believed in industrialisation and a strong military. he believed in Libertarianism and unity and a self sufficient country. He believed in bureaucracy, democracy in name only and totalitarianism (government has total control of everyone lives). He was also sexist and homophobic & like most communists he believed in equal wages no matter what job. He also believed in collectivisation (which is when the peasants are forced to harvest the land for the good of the state).

It believed in Rascism

The classic economic explanation for the decline and break up of the Soviet Union is given by Kotz and Weir (1997). They argue that it was economic stagnation that precipitated political changes towards democracy. We agree with their analysis but add one more element to the economic sequence of events, which is an oil crisis. Other variations of the economics of the Soviet transition can be found from Krueger (1993), Kafouros (1996), Ellman and Kontorovich (1992), and Osband (1992).
