Perhaps his most lasting accomplishment was the establishment of the Julian Calendar. He had social reforms planned but was unable to carry them out as death intervened.

As individuals, we all know of the accomplishments of Julius Caesar--Gaul, the dictatorship, the calendar, etc., etc., and there were no individual accomplishments of Cleopatra with the exception of a temple she built to Julius Caesar after he was killed.
