Benjamin Harrison accomplished his electorial votes winning against Grover im 1885. He also lost the next turn against Grover G. he went to war and got hurt, therefore, transfered out. he then became like his father William Henry Harrison (9th president) and ran.

  • Dependent and disability pensions act of 1890 - gave pensions to dependents of veterans and to veterans who became disabled after their service.
  • Sherman Anti-Trust Act - 1890
  • Silver Purchase Act -1890- required the government to buy 4.5 million ounces of sliver each month
  • Tariff act of 1890- raised tariff rates to 48% producing large consumer price increases, provoking outrage which was a major factor in causing the Republicans to lost the next election .
  • North Dakota,South Dakota,Montana,Washington,Idaho and Wyoming all were made states (1890)
  • Yosemite National Park was established during his presidency(1890).
