There were three main crops grown by Ancient Egyptian farmers, wheat, barely and flax. They also grew vegetables including, marrows, beans, onions, lentils, leeks, radishes, garlic and lettuces. Also fruits like melons, dates and figs. Date palms and fig trees also provided shade for people and animals from the hot sun.
