Why the Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo Kingdom was diminished?

Looking back in the history, quest for dominion and power in Europe is in close rivalry, almost all country in Europe at the start of 15th century wants to rule the world. Spain is one contender under the Catholic banner and the religious quest has become the most viable reason to colonize the Sulu and North Borneo archipelago islands. When Spanish saw the tribal stage govermental system of the scattered islands of the Archipelago , they start to used many ploy to convinced the wholly Muslim population of Sulu archipelago. They succeeded in Cebu and Luzon but never Mindanao specially Sulu and neighboring islands. When America join the power race , Spain sold the Philippines which was basically Luzon and Visayas island only but the 'Treaty of Paris" used technical descriptions that encompass the whole of Sulu archipelago islands. Later , America sponsored a Philippine Republic that denounce the existence of the Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo under Manauel L. Quezon as president of the Republic. All the ploy are initiated by Catholic based country from Europe. England is the mother country of America , The Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo is run by Islamic Faith and this could be the reason it was diminished on the ground that Muslim and Catholics are fighting under religious war for many years. Today , the people of the Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo under the reigning Sultan Esmail D. Kiram II want to emphasize their rights to live peacefully in their own land, but the territory that belongs to them were grabbed by both Malaysia and the Philippines. We can see the Asian version of Palestine here who own the land and was grabbed from them by another country. The Sultanate and North borneo Kingdom is unique because two country has grabbed their land Malaysia and Philippines. Malaysia is in shame position noting that they are also a Muslim country aggravating the Muslim people of Sulu and North Borneo comparing to a catholic Philippines.
