USA, Canada, Mexico, some Central American countries, some Caribbean islands, Switzerland. and to those to which nationals of your countries are allowed to travel without a visa or resident permit. There might be some more. Note: You must hold the actual card in most cases.
Starting Dec 2008, Switzerland is a part of Shenghen nations and does not waive visa requirements for GC holders.
To be honest it depends on where you are from and what country has granted you a green card. US green card holders can visit Mexico and Canada without a visa, but you still need a passport and leaving the Us for over a year can lead to having your green card taken away.
yes they can. a green card holder can travel freely outside of the u.s.
That depends on the motives of the green card holder ;)
Yes, you can. You just have to take your green card along with your Iranian passport.
awesome I am going to the Bahamas
Having a "green card" from the United States will allow you to enter the US if you leave. It has nothing to do with access to other countries. Whether or not you will need a visa to travel to New Zealand depends on the country from which you have your passport.
With a Green Card, a holder can enter any country a US citizen does not need a visa, without a visa. You must however, find out the maximum duration one is allowed to stay in the foreign country with each visit.

No you can't travel to Europe by using your Green Card..For that you need a valid visa to enter into the European Countries. In case if you travel via Cruiseship then you need not want Visa it seems..You can check with the travel agencies before proceedings..
Yes, you still need a visa. But it's better if you apply from the US not Iran. If you are an Iranian green card holder, you can visit Canada without visa though. Same with Bahamas, Costa Rica, Bermuda and Jamaica.* Remember to always have your passport with you when visiting these countries otherwise the US won't allow you to comeback with just the green card.
Yes, you always need a passport when you travel outside your country of origin.
Apply at the appropriate consulate or embassy
If you have Indian citizenship, passport and got US GC then for Bahamas, Canada, Mexico and Switzerland you don't need visitor or tourist visa. You can travel to Costa Rica without needing a visa too.Assuming you have an Indian passport, the UK and France will exempt you from a Transit visa but not a visitor's visa. You'll need tourist visas for UK and France.
