Swollen lymph node. They swell when they are amping up white blood cell counts to fight infection.
A bump with no pain, should be checked by a doctor. You may have a tumor developing, and you need to find out if it is malignant, or not.
I will be going to the Doc. I am scared - it could be anything from a cyst to a cancerous lump!
It could be a tumor, sist, cancer to the brain, an infection, or anything else to that extent.
A bruise. If it doesn't go down after a few days get professional medical advice (not the internet)
Being hit there
He had a contused wound on the forehead half an inch across.
maybe it is a fluid cyst. i have seen it before and i am a doctor. i referred the patient to an ENT specialist. yours may need to be drained.
roughly half the surface area of africa
The end of your pinky finger is about a half inch across.
It is probably hypertropic scarring. Go out and buy some tea tree oil at walmart or just about any drugstore. After you clean your ear, just dab a bit of the oil on the bump and leave it. Do that once or twice a day until th bump goes away. The oil will dry out the bump and it'll flake off in layers.
There is a scar on his forehead, a quite famous one actually.
It probably means you have a small pimple on the inside of your nose, which can hurt a lot but is harmless and usually disappears in a few days. Many people experience them occasionally. That said, if the pain continues or the bump gets bigger, consult professional medical advice.
Most likely answer? An ingrown hair, but your doctor can tell you for sure, and provide treatment.
Half the distance across a circle.
If the voltage across a resistor or resistors is halved, then the resulting current will also fall by half.
The distance half way across a circle is the circle's radius.radias
I would also like to know the answer to this question. I have recently developed a bump on the left side of my forehead too. This is completely random and I have not gotten hit with anything at all. Arg, please help! I have a bump about that size on the right side of my forehead. It developed seven years ago. The catch... mine twitches. It moves like some kind of alien under my skin. It is very hard. I have tried stabbing it several times with a needle. It is hard to pierce; it does not hurt, and it doesn't bleed. It would have driven me insane a long time ago, but fortunately, the movement comes and goes. It starts moving about once or twice a year and it stops when I take Augmentin. The bump is always there, but it gets bigger during the movement flare-ups. I have severe chronic sinusitis that began at the same time, and I believe it has caused a multiple sclerosis type effect on the nerves that control my facial muscles. That is why the augmentin helps. The bump could have developed from constant, low-level movement in that muscle. Basically its like working out and getting buff. I also experience other MS type symptoms with the flare-up; chorea, trigeminal neuralgia, Numbness or weakness in one or more limbs, which typically occurs on one side of the body at a time or the bottom half of the body Partial or complete loss of vision, usually in one eye at a time, often with pain during eye movement, Double vision or blurring of vision, Tingling or pain in numb areas of the body, Electric-shock sensations that occur with certain head movements, Tremor, lack of coordination or unsteady gait, Fatigue, Dizziness, and Depression. doctors are baffle by the moving bump. None have identified or diagnosed it. Ones who have seen it moving say it does not seem to be any muscle that belongs in the forehead. Any similar stories or an answer would be appreciated.
