You should go to your doctor to make sure that it is not ringworm that has spread. They see these things all the time so don't feel weird going to your doctor. The only way that you can get rid of ringworm is with a medicated cream or a pill. Good luck:) answer 2: you probably should see a dr if its been that long. however, if you can't ge to one right away, try rubbing apple cider vinegar with water 1:1 ratio and see if it helps. or if you have colloidal silver, that helps the healing of it also.

It sounds like psoriasis I would say eczema... It's really common. If you're on the heavier side it might be irritated more...
