There are many colors of African violets; Yellow, pink,purple,lavender,white,white/pink, white/red,blue, and anythink between. Also the leaves come in variegated, plain green,mosaic which is similar to varigated but more spotted looking.

∙ 12y agoEach variety will usually turn out exactly the way the mother plant looked. If you plant a leaf in soil-less African violet soil for instance you will get plantlets when they bloom, the same color as the mother plant. Sometimes though, the plantlet upon maturity will sport (and flower a different color) sometimes even the leaves can be lighter or darker green.
