∙ 16y agoIf an individual is looking for a career program of study that is designed to be completed within a two year period, then the community college system has some outstanding opportunities. These career oriented programs are almost always found within the Applied Science area. There are some that can be found in the Diploma area (Licensed Practical Nurse), and the Associate of Science area(Registered Nurse, Respiratory Therapist etc.) Still, most are in the Applied Science area. the following are just some of the careers.
- Accounting
- Administrative Support
- Business Management
- Manufacturing Engineering Technology
- Civil/Construction Engineering Technology
- Computer Science
- Electromechanical Tech/Computer Serv/Robotics
- Fire Science Technology
- Game Design Development
- Help Desk
- Health Sciences
- Interpreters for the Deaf
- Marketing
- Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Physical Therapist Assistant
- Paralegal Studies
- Dental Hygiene
Many of the above programs are transferable to four year institutions if you choose to do so at a later date. However, check with the Transfer Counselor at the community college for the pros and cons in transfer. In Addition there are also Certificate programs that can be completed in as little as a year. Some are as follows:

How do you become a Physician's Assistant?
Ok actually you only have to go to college for two years then a PA program two years. You can go and get you masters degree but it's not nessecary to obtain a license. Actually, only a few programs remain that don't require a Bachelor's Degree to get in to PA school and require a Master's Degree for graduation. The American Academy of Physician Assistants is working to require that all PAs have a Master's Degree in order to become licensed in all states.

No only some school trips require payment but most of the time it is free

Any school which specificallly trains persons for specific careers is a trade school although they may call themselves by another name. If a school trains a person only to be an audio engineer it's a trade school.
