Catholic, Orthodox ( who are of necessity celibate), Episcopalian, and in some cases Methodist and even some Lutheran churches. the State churches in say, Denmark are both Lutheran AND Episcopal being both Lutheran in doctrine and episcopal in church government. These Bishops have specific clerical costumes. In the Us, more businesslike terms as ( diocesan superintendent , or superintendent of Ministry are used. There are thus no Bishops or Cathedrals in American Lutheran churches, generally.
The Roman catholic churches have bishops. They normally live in Bishop's house.

I believe the Church of England also has bishops.

And the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints also has bishops; they are lay members.

The Anglican Communion which includes the Church of England and the Episcopal Church are not considered to be Protestants-but a bridge between the Roman Catholic Church and the Mainline Protestants like the Lutherans, United Methodists, and Presbyterians. The Anglicans ordain deacons, priests and bishops through the practice of Apostolic Succession. The United Methodist Church also believes in Apostolic Succession, when John Wesley consecrated George Whitefield, the first American bishop. Methodist bishops are different from the RCC and Anglicans because they are administrative and not ecclesiastical. The other is the Evangelical Lutherans who not to long ago, started to ordain bishops. Both the Episcopal and ELCA have Presiding Bishops, that head their denominations. Methodist bishops have greater authority because they appoint pastors to individual parishes and are in charge of each conference or diocese. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or Mormons, also have bishops but aren't ordain. Its common for these bishops to hold down civilian jobs outside the church. In the African American churches, many do have bishops but many of these people have not gone to seminary. The African Methodist Episcopal Church does ordain bishops like its parent church, the UMC.
