Best Answer

The gravitational pull between them causes Pluto to come near neptune. Did you know that when Pluto goes to go around the sun, it goes through Neptunes system. (Neptune has rings)

Is neptune near to the sun?

No it's near Pluto at the far end (#8)

Is Neptune the first or second or third from the Sun?

Neither. Neptune is the 8th planet from the Sun.

What is the planet farther away from the sun?

its unusual but it is planet X. you may think im wrong but me is 98% sure *** All of them. Since Pluto follows an irregular orbit an a different axis than the other planets, it's relative distance to the obits of other planets is always in flux. If you meant to ask which planet is sometimes farther from the Sun than Pluto, the answer is Neptune.

Is there clouds near Pluto?

There are no clouds near Pluto. Pluto does have neighbors in the kuiper belt, but no clouds to speak of. On Earth, however, there may be clouds that obstruct the view or come close to our view of Pluto.

Can Pluto be a comet?

Pluto is a dwarf planet. It could be an asteroid, or it could be a moon that escaped the orbit of Neptune. It could Not be a comet. Comets are chunks of frozen ice that travel in orbit around the sun, and as they near the sun, parts of the comet melt and leave a trail of melted water in their wake. Pluto never gets near the sun to melt. Pluto never gets nearer the sun than the orbit of Neptune.

Why Neptune sometimes farther from the sun than Pluto?

Neptune is brighter than Pluto because it is larger and (usually) closer to earth. There isn't enough differences in the albedo or "reflectivity" of the two planets to offset Neptune's size advantage. Even when Pluto slides inside the orbit of Neptune, which the dwarf planet does during part of its orbit of the sun, its smaller size does not permit it to compete with Neptune for brightness. No effence but i need more of an answer than this

Does Pluto and Neptune swap places every 9 years?

They don't. What actually happens is that Pluto's orbit... well, it doesn't actually intersect Neptune's, but on a two-dimensional plot it looks like it does. This means that for a brief period on each of its orbits around the Sun, Pluto is closer to the Sun than Neptune is.... they do not, however, "switch places." (Also, despite what you might think if you looked at a graph, Pluto never gets anywhere near Neptune. The closest Pluto can ever get to Neptune is about 17 AU; it actually can get nearer to Uranus ... about 11 AU... than it can to Neptune. The reason for this is that Pluto is in a resonance orbit with Neptune; it makes three complete orbits for every two of Neptune's, so every time Pluto is at one of the "crossing points", Neptune is somewhere else in its orbit.)

Will Saturn collide with Neptune?

No. Neptune and Saturn both have stable orbits that do not come anywhere near each other.

Will Neptune and Uranus ever collide?

No, Neptune and Uranus will never collide. Their orbits do not come anywhere near one another.
