Urine tests can be used for different type of infections. One test, however, is not all inclusive for all infections. Each test is specific.

Basic testing screens forcommonly-abused drugs:

Amphetamines (speed, meth, crank, ecstasy)

Cannabinoids (marijuana, hash)

Cocaine (coke, crack)

Opiates (heroin, morphine, opium, codeine)

Phencyclidine (PCP)

An extended test screens for the above drugs plus any of the following:

Barbiturates (phenobarbital, butalbital, secobarbital)

Benzodiazepines (tranquilizers like Valium, Librium, Xanax)

Ethanol (ethyl alcohol, booze)

Hallucinogens (LSD, mushrooms, mescaline, peyote)

Inhalants (paint, glue, hair spray)

Anabolic Steroids (synthesized, muscle-building hormones)

These drugs can also show in urine tests:

LSD

Tryptamines (Psilocybin, AMT, DMT, DPT, 5-MeO-DiPT)

Phenethylamines (Mescaline, MDMA, MDA, MDE, 2C-B, 2C-T-7)

Inhalants' (Toluene, Xylene, Benzene)
