Who has the hardest basic training in the military?

i think that the royal marines commandos have a reputation for being one of the toughest 32 week basic training course, but there are other American forces like the U.S navy seals who also have a very hard training course.

Navy SEALs hands down have the toughest training in the US and second toughest in the world, Spetznaz being first.

In no particular order (because they are subject to debate) here is a number of the toughest Army schools:

Officer Candidate School, Special Forces, Ranger, Jump Master, Sniper, SERE, Halo, SF Underwater Operations Combat Diver, Sapper Leadership Course, RSLC, Pathfinder

Small, elite units have the most difficult training. Generally referred to as special forces. Most established countries have such units. It would be impossible to say one is better than the other as most of the units cross train. Useful tactics developed by one service is passed on or copied by others.

Special Air Service (Britain and Australia)
