The three longest rivers of Poland are:

  1. Vistula (pl. Wisła) - 1047 km, entirely within Poland; flows through the capital city Warsaw, among many others; the longest river emptying into the Baltic Sea;
  2. Oder (pl. Odra) - 854.3 km, of which 742 km in Poland, the rest in the Czech Republic and Germany; forms part of the border between Poland and Germany along 161.7 km of its run (also, along a short distance, forms part of the border between Poland and the Czech Republic);
  3. Warta - 808.2 km, entirely within Poland; the longest, right-bank tributary of the Oder; connected to the Vistula by the river Noteć and the Bydgoszcz Canal.

Mainly - Oder River (in Polish: "Odra") on the West, and Buh River (Polish "Bug") in the East. Of course there are dozens of other, smaller rivers which make a border between Poland and Germany (Nysa Łużycka), Poland and Czech Republic (Olza), Poland and Slovakia (Dunajec) etc. But Odra and Bug are kind of symbols, saying "behind Odra" means "Germany" to many people, as well as "behind Bug" means either post-Soviet countries (Belarus and Ukraine) or the Polish Eastern territories lost after WW2.
