technically when they estimate your due date they go by your last period until they do an ultrasound to determine exact day of conception. So by going by last period week 2 is when the sperm and egg unite and the egg makes its way to your uterus to embed itself.

∙ 15y agoi am 10weeks pregnant an had spots of blood when i woke up this morning after a few hours i had light period pains an the went to the toliet and a clot came out of my vagina it had a bit of grissle in it i took it to the doc he said it myt be the start of a miscarrige or my body having a clear out i now need to wait intill monday to fynd out i am 16 years old and cant wait this long to fynd out if ive lost my baby,does it sound like i have lost it i need to now the bleeding is very light i need advise and sum1 to tell me wat is goin on

I also started spotting red blood when I was 6 weeks pregnant and unfortantly it turned out to be a miscarriage. If the bleeding continues you should go to the ER and have it checked out. With me it started as a ting of blood and progressed to being bloody like a period. I also had cramping. Around 6 weeks is a common time to experience a miscarriage. 1 in 5 pregnancy result in a miscarriage so it is more common then thought. Hopefully things will work out for you but remember if it does turn out to be a miscarriage it doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with you because unfortantly it is more common then you might think.
