Basic a level knowledge: Tears are a form of chemical barrier from infection. The enzyme lysozyme is found in tears which kills of some bacteria which helps prevent pathogens entering the body and causing infection. I hope this helps, I'm unsure how the enzyme kills the bacteria as I was only aware that enzymes are catalysts that lower the activation energy in a reaction. If any one knows I'll be very grateful. :) Xxx
Tears contain enzyme lsozyme that helps kill some bacteria. This helps prevent pathogens, that cause infection, from entering the body.
Tears contain lysozymes that kill bacteria.
Lysozyme kills bacteria to a limit!
destroy harmful bacteria.
lysosomes

Disinfectants are antibacterial agents that are applied to inorganic surfaces. They should generally be distinguished from antiseptics that destroy pathogens on living tissue.
decay to rot or destroy decompose dead thing eaten by fungi or bacteria
Tears contain an antibacterial substance :)
Lysosone

Maybe you should try somewhere else coz i dont no!!
true
The theory is that any time you use an antibacterial agent, you can only kill 99.99% of the bacteria, while the remaining 0.01% may be bacteria more resistant than the original. When those few remaining bacteria multiply, they may be more difficult to destroy.
yes. Tears contain lysozymes. Lysozymes destroy bacteria protecting the eyes.
Staph and salmonella are commonly found on the kitchen floor. Salmonella is especially common, because of the likelihood of raw meat in the kitchen. An antibacterial kitchen spray such as Lysol is necessary to destroy kitchen bacteria.
In the process of phagocytosis, phagocytes surround and engulf pathogens (such as bacteria) and use lysosomal enzymes to destroy the germs.
The cytoplasmic membrane is a poor target for antibacterial medication because of the difficulty in creating an antibiotic that will destroy the cytoplasmic membrane in a bacterium and not destroy the cytoplasmic membrane in a human cell.
There are many different kinds of antibiotics that contain different substances. In simple terms, an antibiotic is a medical substance derived from chemical preparations, organic preparations, etc. that have been proven to kill bacteria, usually each type of antibiotic is targeted at specific types of bacteria since not all antibiotics are effective against all bacteria. The substances usually destroy the organism's cell walls so they can no longer function, or damage the ability of the bacteria to reproduce. They destroy them or inhibit the growth and/or functions of these harmful microorganisms.
