Some of McDonald's strengths are their ability to get food prepared and served quickly. They are able to do this at a low price, which is another strength. Weaknesses would be that many of their food items are not healthy food options.

ON THE LIGHTER SIDE

Rumor has it if you wear a cape, and break into a McDonald's after they are closed (it can't be one of the 24 hour ones) And you perform a ritualistic sacrafice of the Ronald McDonald statue by drawing a large pentagram on the floor with ketchup, and singing The Beatles backwards while you stab the statue with a spatula, Ronald's ghost will rise from hell at the stroke of midnight and rain Hamburgers from the skies while the rivers flow with big mac sauce, and french fries plague the sewers.

The strengths of McDonald's are brand recognition and tens of thousands of locations. McDonald's offers a sense of nostalgia for many as well who grew up eating McDonald's food. Its weaknesses are a menu with too many items. They are focused on bringing in Millennials who are more interested in "healthy" fast food such as Chipotle but in may ways are forgetting their core customers.
