The movie is way more less amusing than the books. More details about the whole story is included in the books because the book has every single last detail the movie however only has the main details so its kind of difficult to understand the movie and capture the meaning of it hope this helps
I am trying to find this question out myself but probably one I recognized was how much older the characters seemed to be in the movie. I hope that helps!
One similarity between of mice and men the book and the black and white version is that George and Lennie were late to the ranch. Also George and Lennie had a goal to own their own ranch

Many people enjoy both the book and the movie "The Outsiders." The book offers more in-depth character development and background information, while the movie brings the story to life visually and features a talented cast. It ultimately comes down to personal preference and whether you enjoy reading or watching adaptations.
