By working hard and being one of the best in your platoon.

In the Army, at least, you do not get selected for Ranger school, nor do you get selected to serve in the 75th Ranger Regiment - you must volunteer for both.

Before going to the actual Ranger School, you will be required to attend a pre-Ranger course, which you must first pass and garner a recommendation from those instructors to be forwarded to Ranger School.

You can join with a combat MOS and get it in your contract from the start, reenlist for the school or ask your schools NCO if its available. You can also be sent to a ranger regiment for a PCS move.

I do not know the exact requirements, because i was not in that branch of the military i was a us marine, but i have a pretty good idea, first of all, to be considered to go through ranger school in fort benning, Georgia, you have to serve a tour of duty, also, if u can complete it,(since its one of the toughest training courses in the military along with the navy seal bud training, ranger school, completeting ranger school doesnt make you a ranger, it makes you ranger "qualified" you have to be accepted to get it, also you have serve in the 75th to become a true army ranger. I hope this helped brother

You either enlist under an RIP (Ranger Indoctrination Programme) contract, or you get your Ranger tab while you're in, and request reassignment to a Ranger battalion.

That depends, do you just want to be Ranger-Qualified or do you want to serve in Ranger Regiment?

Discipline, Heart and Willpower. Your question is really general so the answer is too.

Is it hard to become an army ranger?

Is it hard to become an Army Ranger? I am assuming you mean an actual Army Ranger, and not someone that went to the Army's Ranger training school to get a Ranger Tab. Yes..... Becoming a Ranger is a serious task. There are no timeouts, no seconds chances. In RIP you will be mentally and physically challenged beyond anything you have ever thought possible. If you have the "Intestinal Fortitude" to fight through all the training and testing in RIP, you will get to continue to test yourself as an actual Army Ranger. The life of an Army Ranger is much harder than RIP, so prepare yourself. It is a hard journey, but, when it is all said and done, very few have more right to be proud of themselves than Army Rangers! Rangers Lead the Way!
