The Industrial Revolution had a variety of negative impacts on the world:

* Increase in global pollution * Unemployment and loss of jobs * Increase in Child Labor * Decrease in work ethics There are a variety of other negative outcomes from this time period which could be considered the outcome of the Industrial Revolution. Many people claim that the Industrial Revolution has increased our laziness and lack of motivation. This could be connected in the increase of obesity since machinery is now controlling our work environment.

The negative impacts of the industrial revolution include increase in child labor due to increased demand for cheap and unskilled labor. Another issue is environmental pollution since there were no laws governing the disposal of waste products from industries, and exploitation of workers who were required to work for long hours with very little pay.

Industrialization i the change in the world wherein we begin to depend mostly on machines. negative effects of which are the changes in the environment (climate change, global warming, el nino, etc) which we are experiencing at the moment. for example at our country, the Philippines, we experienced a typhoon or hurricane which left a lot of places flooded, caused land slides and deaths.

One of the biggest disadvantages of the industrial revolution is that it is causing global warming / greenhouse effect / climate change / acid rain etc.

in those days small children also worked in chimneys for small wages , so because of that they were called 'chimney sweepers'.
