It depends on the tribe. Not all tribes has the same beliefs. Example a Wanagi is a Dark Spirit known the the Lakota people but not to the Crow. They all did believe they had a mother (Earth Mother, Sky Woman) and a father (The Great Spirit- he also had various names) and the Spirit World of their people.
Some of the more gruesome practices have been dropped--human sacrifice, torture and mutilation, and the native religions have absorbed much Christianity. In recent times Native American religions have influenced and have been influenced by the New Age movement, and the concepts of shamanism have been revived and incorporated into modern religions.

Yes, even had their own beliefs. They did get some Christianity practices as well from 1600s+ by Priests, due to all Native Americans religions considered heathen to them. There is still Native Americans who practice traditional religion of their tribes today.
