In 1998 Amit Sebastian Paul, Marie Serneholt, Sara Lumholdt and Dhani Lennevald were formed into a band by Niklas Berg. They were from Stockholm, Sweden and were originally called ABBA Teens because they were an ABBA tribute band. Later Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson of ABBA requested that they change the band's name to A-Teens to avoid any confusion between the bands. This also allowed them freedom to create their own music and style. Today: Amit is a solo artist who's latest album was released in 2008 ; Marie is a soloist and model and is currently working on a new album; Sara is a soloist who recorded her most recent album in 2008 in Los Angeles; and Dhani is a solo artist who moved to Los Angeles from Sweden in 2008.

∙ 13y agoThey split up in 2004 after releasing their Greatest Hits album... both the girls went off and tried to do it solo... needless to say it didn't go so well... finally, both the guys ended up falling in love and getting married... to each other...
