A:Most such events go largely unremarked, particularly as most attention is drawn to more recent events such as Palestinian attacks on Jewish territory. The following are some of the atrocities which have been reported from the period immediately following the Israeli Declaration of Independence.

Ilan Pappe from the University of Haifa, Israel, says (A History of Modern Palestine: One Land, Two Peoples) that after March 1948 both sides commence military campaigns, but the Jews were better organised and more effective. Jewish forces committed the Dir Yassin massacre in Haifa. Massacres were then carried out by Jews in Balad al-Shaykh and elsewhere.

Each brigade of the Jewish Hagana paramilitary was given a list of villages to occupy and destroy, with the objective being to cleanse the future Jewish state of as many Palestinians as possible. In addition, some of the brigades are to take over the mixed Arab-Jewish towns and expel the Palestinian populations. This was the fate of Jaffa, Haifa, Safad and Tiberius.

In the village of Tantura, population 1500, the women and children were expelled to nearby Fureidis and 200 men between 13 and 30 were massacred.

Sami Hadawi (Bitter Harvest: A modern history of Palestine ) says that in April 9, 1948 the Jews massacred over 250 men, women and children in the village of Deir Yasin. Menachem Begin, the leader of the attack on Deir Yasin, later wrote "The massacre was not only justified, but there would not have been a state of Israel without the victory at Deir Yasin" (Jewish Newsletter of October 1960). These were not war casualties, as the Israeli Hebrew newspaper Yediot Aharonot, published on April 4, 1972, a report written in 1948 by a young Palmach fighter involved in the massacre. It was clear that this was a massacre, not just fighting, and much of it in cold blood.

Two hundred persons, mostly elderly, were killed in the mosque of the village Ed-Dawayimeh near Hebron.

Fifty captives were machine-gunned in 1948 in the Lebanese village of Hula.

Finally, a contemporary Israel Defence Force booklet included a call by Lt-Col Rabbi Abraham Avidan, Chief Rabbi of the Central Command, for the killing of civilians.

What was the main cause that made Jews the great enemy of the Muslims?

Muslims don't consider Jews enemies. Muslims believe in their holy book (Torah) and their prophet (Moses; peace be upon him). Muslims consider Jews as "people of the book". There are still many Jews residing and living in many Islamic countries without any discrimination or enmity. However, Muslims may consider the Israelis as enemies because of the aggression and oppression that they exercise against the Palestinians and because of the massacres that they committed against them to drive them away from their lands in addition to what they doing in the AlAqsa Mosque that may lead to its destruction.
