There is no "Imperial Roman Catholic Church", thus there is no way to answer your question.

Another View:

Though the term 'Imperial' is no longer in use, it had been during the 4th Century AD when significant changes began to shape the members of the Christian community whose converts were first called 'Christians' in Acts 11:26.

Jesus and His Apostles told us that many false preachers would come to lead new converts astray with the 'gospels of men' (see Matthew 24:4-5 and many others). It is the real spiritual battle taking place for the souls of mankind.

Basically, the creation of this 'counterfeit' Christianity is not entirely different from the true church but rejects/usurps some of the essential biblical teachings that lead to eternal life. Satan wants to prevent us from becoming members of God's family and therefore promotes lawless Christian teachings that tells us we may be selective in obedience - even to the point of ignoring - of God's Commands. Jesus taught just the opposit - see Matthew 19:17.

Consider this quote: Williston Walker, former professor of ecclesiastical history at Yale University, tells us that, in the year 323, "Constantine was at last the sole ruler of the Roman world. The church was everywhere free from persecution . . . But, in winning its freedom from its enemies, it had come largely under the control of the occupant of the Roman imperial throne. A fateful union with the state had begun" ( A History of the Christian Church, 1946, p. 111).

What are the differences between Christian and Muslim birth ceremonies?

Roman Catholic AnswerThere is no difference for the simple reason that Catholics are Christians. Another answerBut there are differences between protestants and Catholics in the funeral services. For example, Catholics still use a High Requiem Mass (if a priest is available to use the Extraordinary Form). The service is often more solemn and formatted. In non-Catholic Christian faiths, funerals may be long or short (typically short), appear less formatted and regimented, and seem more relaxed. As well, incense is used in Catholic funerals but not in non-Catholic churches. As well, a non-Catholic church may have no candles anywhere in the church but there may be many lit candles in Catholic funerals. Often, non-catholic churches have no cross symbols, but Catholic Churches have crucifixes often with the deceased body of Christ (whereas non-Catholic churches have plain crosses, emphasizing the Risen Christ).
