First of all, goji berries, like many other berries, have antioxidants. Antioxidants are thought to help prevent cancer and Heart disease, among other things. Antioxidants help to fight aging by preventing damage caused to DNA by free radicals. To put it simply, free radicals are unpaired electrons that break off of weak atoms. They float around the body trying to steal electrons from other atoms. This chain reactions can cause serious problems if living cells start to lose electrons to free radicals. Antioxidants kind of neutralize free radicals by giving them an electron, thus preventing that electron from stealing an electron from an atom in your body that needs it. Goji berries also contain a compound that stimulates the pituitary gland, which produces human growth hormone. This hormone may help regulate other hormones and reduce signs of aging. Vitamin A, which is also found in goji berries, may also help to fight aging. Vitamin A also helps protect vision.

Some research suggests that goji berries may help to boost brain health and prevent Alzheimer's.

It's important to remember that some of the claims about goji berries, such as their ability to prevent aging and Alzheimer's, aren't fully researched yet and may not be entirely true. So while goji berries, like most other fruits, are good for you, they may not be miracle fruit.
