Ill health in retirement can be avoided, for the most part, or at least minimized by staying active and having a good diet before you are at the age of retirement. There are a lot of things you can do, but they all require some level of self motivation and dedication, but if you really want to look forward to retirement, you can think of it as an investment, like an IRA.
