What are the advantages of touch screen computer?

An advantage of inputting data on a touch screen computer is that it is quick and easy to use but the disadvantage is that you might press the wrong thing and mess up the whole computer if you accidentally touch on a computer virus

For most people a touch panel/screen facilitates easy interaction with small portable devices that otherwise would require carrying more cumbersome and bulky input equipment (e.g. keyboards, mice).

However some people have conditions (e.g. tremors) that "confuse" touch panel/screen equipment. I have a tremor and have such great difficulty with touch input devices I almost always connect an ordinary USB keyboard and mouse to everything and if a laptop allows me to inhibit its touchpad completely then I do.
