There are mainly three types of relationships in database . These are One to One , One to Many , Many to Many. One to one relationship can be seen as relationship between husband and wife , one to many relationship can be seen as a relationship between a college and students.

The different types of relationships in a database are; one-to-many relationships, many-to-many relationships, one-to-one relationships. One to one is the most commonly used, a row in table A can have a lot of matching rows in table B but table B can only have one matching row in table A. Many to many is when a row in table A can have a lot of matching rows in table B and table B can have a lot of matching rows as table A. One to one is when a row in table A can only have one matching row in table B and the same with table B
