An imperative sentence is just a command, so examples would be:

Get the newspaper.

Take out the trash.

Feed the cat!

Do your homework.

Turn of the lights, please.

Please stop doing that!

It can have an exclamation mark or a period. And even though it doesn't sound as commanding with the 'please' added, it still is a command, so it is an imperative sentence.
