Like Idaho and Maine, Alaska grows potatoes near Fairbanks. But in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley (North of Anchorage) holds fertile soils and can grow corn, wheat, hay, vegetables, barley, and oats.

Carrots and Cabbage are also grown in Alaska, but isn't one of their main crops.

Oh, and just a note to Frankie Gonzalez: I updated this because you made a rude update on this accusing the previous person he didn't have his facts straight, when he was telling the truth. Barley is a crop there, and in fact is one fo the main crops.
