How many sharks are killed?

Dolphins POSSIBLY!!! Dolphins do not intentionally kill sharks because they are a predator. Dolphins are actually the sharks prey. The only time that a dolphin can and will attack a shark is when it feels threatened. Even then all they do is charge at the sharks and, "hit" them with their mouths. Then if the shark was hit hard enough then it'd have a hard time breathing. Then it would possibly die.

a)killed for their fins (very expensive and used for shark fin soup, a chinese delicacy)

b) humans believe sharks are dangerous (Promoted by 'Jaws') when they actually only bite non-fatally and out of curiousity in most cases.

c)killed for food because their flesh is part of the poultry and meat category and many people consume it for their protein.

These are some of the major reasons humans kill sharks, it is necessary in some cases to kill sharks, however, because of many unjust and false reasons, an extremely overexcessive amount of sharks are killed when it is unnecessary.
