What is a nerd clique?

A nerd clique is a social group or circle of friends who are defined by their shared interest in intellectual pursuits, technology, or other nerdy obsessions. Members of a nerd clique may bond over their love for things like computers, Science Fiction, Video Games, and academic pursuits.

Nerds are people who have no friends or little to no friends. Commanly hang out with teachers and are official members of the Chess club assosiated with there school. Usually spare time is spent reading non-stop or kissing a picture of someone who will never be with them. One type of nerd called a Sterio Nerd commanly has a hunch back and large glasses from the 80's (hand me downs.) Another type called a Dweeb is very very nerdy. Commanly they tend to eat lunch in a toilet stall by them selves. Normally try to be cool and end up looking like a clown. One thing that people commanly mistake is that people with braces are NOT nerds. People also mistake that people with glasses are nerds but NOT nessesarly. When people who are extremely interested in a slightly unusual or generally unpopular thing (i.e. calculus, Lord of the Rings, anime, etc.) they flock together and become friends so that they can be with people who will understand their interests and be able to talk with them about it. There may be various nerd cliques: art nerds, math nerds, book nerds...anything will do. Often there is also an overlap in friendships such as art nerds befriending math nerds and so on. This is due to both of them having unusual interests and therefore being bonded together by the fact that they're minorities.
