I am a principal in a school in Australia and I have parents and children that complain that school uniforms should not be allowed in school any longer because they cost too much, they are uncomfortable and ugly. Other reasons like those.
Ugly uniforms isn't a reason to complain about than children's safety when they go on trips or somewhere out of school. It is also more important about the education, and we must remember why that's why we send them to school. Ugly and uncomfortable uniforms aren't a big problem, it is not why we go to school for; to feel good and look good. No.
Other than that, if we allow children to develop the habit of wearing casual clothes, it will become a problem and get more complaints from parents saying: "My child's new t-shirt has been damaged. Whats going on?"
Obviously, they have been jumping in puddles and mucking about. Expensive clothing shall get damaged or lost and they have to get washed again and again.
Casual clothes can take away children's thinking during classtime and elderly's worry about what they want to wear every morning normally to look good. We don't want that, we want the education to be happening not the looks and feeling.
Have you ever worn a school uniform? What do you think of teenagers required to wear school uniforms?
It makes for a better school by looking clean cut and people don't have to worry as much about whats "in or out" anymore.
School uniforms actually benefit school students. It is an opportunity for unification of the team that is the members of a student body. When everyone is in uniform, no one has to keep up with expensive or clique fashion trends and everyone is at the same level, as a team. School is not for worrying about fashion it is for learning!
I Think school uniforms should not be compulsory But I need your opinion. Can you help me?
No! Uniforms do not stifle creativity.
Uniforms are compulsory at schools in order to identify you if you are in that school.
It depends on the type of school. Mostly public schools do not need uniforms. But in Catholic schools you almost always have to.AND IN MOST christian schools and private schools they about 90% of the time have to wear uniforms

School shouldn't get uniforms because the kids will get frustrated that everyday they would have to where the same stuff to school everyday. When i was in school i got laughed at because i was the only one who wouldn't wear the uniform. Schools shouldn't have uniforms
There has been long controversy between whether school uniforms make schools safer or not. I however think that schools should not have school uniforms because it could take away a students pride in their clothing style.
Somewhere around 90 schools in Ottawa require their students to wear school uniforms. 80 of them being catholic schools.
