There is no such thing called 'church' in Islam.

If you were referring to the worshipping place of Muslims, it is typically called a "Mosque" in English. In Arabic, there are two names for such a structure: Jame'a (جامع) also Latinized in Turkish as Camii refers to a large Mosque and Masjid (مسجد) also Latinized in Turkish as Mescid which refers to a smaller community building. Muslims in the mosque; during praying; face the direction of Kaaba in Makkah (or Mecca) in Saudi Arabia.

Mosques are generally large open rooms with designs on the walls and a curtain to separate the women (who pray in the rear) from the men (who pray towards the front). Unlike Christian churches, there are no pews and those who pray sit and prostrate themselves on the floor. Services are relatively quick (from a Christian perspective), with prayer lasting roughly 10-30 minutes at any given time with the exception of Friday afternoon prayers which may be longer.

There is nothing called Islamic church. If it is meant what is for Muslims is corresponding to the church for Christian then the answer is Masjid (in Arabic) and Mosque (in English). The mosque structure is characterized by one; or more; long minaret and a dome (some structure models) besides special Islamic window and gate designs.

Muslims use all kinds of paints like other religions. This can easily be seen in Islamic arts. Although some Islamic buildings are indeed devoid of colourful paintings such as in some churches, but this is solely for proting simplicity.
