Butane or Propane
NGL is the product seperated from Natural Gas stream through Cryogenic seperations and it contains Heaviour Hydrocarbons Like C2+. LPG is a product of further fractionation of NGL and it contains Liquified Butane & Propane.
LPG contains many explosive compounds, many of which ore not very healthy. Also, a leaking LPG cylinder can result in a BLEVE, which is where the leak can essentially cause an explosion.
Because it contains propane and butane which produce blue flame on combustion
How many nm3 of lpg makes 1 kg of lpg
LPG contains propane and butane LNG contains methane
LPG contains petroleum gas.
LPG contains propane (C3H8) and butane (C4H10)
Butane or Propane
our regular household gas is called LPG. it contain butane, propane, iso-butane.
LPG is a mixed gas that are primarily contains propane (C3H8) and butane (C4H10)

The energy value for LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) varies depending on factors such as its composition and purity. However, on average, LPG contains about 46.1 megajoules per kilogram (MJ/kg) of energy. This high energy content makes LPG an efficient fuel choice for heating systems, including LPG heating systems, where it can provide reliable and consistent warmth for residential and commercial spaces.
Dorian LPG Ltd. (LPG)had its IPO in 2014.
Pressure in an LPG cylinder is dependant of the ambient temperature and the LPG mix considered. For 70% Propane and 30% Butane at 20 degrees Celsius the pressure is 102 PSI (lb/sq.in.) or 703 KPa. Please be aware that the pressure inside an LPG vessel will not drop as vapour LPG is being used. LPG cylinder is not to be understood and dealt with as a pressurised gas storage cylinder that will drop in pressure if gas is being taken out of the cylinder. LPG cylinder contains both liquid and vapour, as vapour is being used at an appliance the liquid vaporises under natural conditions and generates more vapour, hence the efficiency of the LPG storage systems.
