That's a REALLY good question....somewhat difficult to research.
However, here's the answer:
It was released only as a single in the US on VeeJay (they had the rights BEFORE Capitol Records. BUT, for some reason it was never included on the Vee Jay 'Introducing The Beatles' album in the Us.
It was not until 1973 that it was included on an album in the US (obviously AFTER they had broken up as a group): The Beatles 62-66 on capitol records.
I believe its also on '1' which came out a few years ago.
It is also included on Past Masters, volume I. The two volumes of Past Masters contain the thirty three tracks which were never originally intended for inclusion on Beatles albums.
See the discussion page for more details.
From Me To You was never released on a studio album, it was only released as a single in 1963. However, it appears on later compilation albums, such as Past Masters 1 and 1, which is an album featuring all of The Beatles' number 1 singles.
The White Album
Yes it was. Beatles For Sale was their 4th album in the UK.In the USA, eight of its tracks appeared on the Beatles'65 album and six more on Beatles VI.
The second official Beatles album that was released is called "With the Beatles"
The White Album, or The Beatles Album http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Beatles_(album)
No, it was the name of a Beatles song, but not an album.
In the UK. their second album "With The Beatles" was released in 1963. In the US. their second album "Meet The Beatles" was released in 1964.
The album it's on is Meet The Beatles(or With The Beatles).
Our friend is a huge Beatles fan and has almost every Beatles album. He just found the Beatles album Revolver on iTunes and downloaded the full album.
Beatles for Sale
"The Beatles"
The second Beatles album was "with The Beatles". It was made in 1963 and lots of songs of theirs we know are on it. It uses the same cover art as the album "Meet the Beatles" which was released exclusively in the U.S.A for their tour here.
Love Songs - The Beatles album - was created in 1962.
