If you can just get him to go , he may not want to talk initially , but he can hear what is being said. Eventually , someone is going to say something that will get his attention or tic him off and he''ll jump in with a complaint or a question . If he remains totally uncommunicative after 3 or 4 sessions, then yes, you are probably wasting your time and money, but if you want to save your relationship, it's up to you to decide if it's worth a shot.
