Were can i find the Timing marks on a megane 1.5 dci?
The top timing marks (Cam and injection pump) are easy to find. The cam has a hole for a timing pin to be inserted, and a mark on the pulley. Similar for the injection pump, there's a mark on the sprocket. These marks align with factory white marks on the belt (I used a Gates Powergrip one) The bottom pulley is a pig to align, as the serpentine drive belt pulley is not keyed to the crankshaft, so you need to get this off, set the timing at TDC, and MARK EVERYTHING CAREFULLY before removing the old timing belt. Hope this helps, Paul.

The timing marks on a 1992 Hyundai 1.5 are lined up by placing the indicators on the cam sprocket and crankshaft sprocket across from each other. This sets the initial tim…ing which determines which determines the synchronization between the engine's internals.
Try left of the steering wheel, at the fuse panel...that little plastic door. I have a 54 reg 1.9TD dynamic and it's not to the left of the steering wheel.....
Timing belts last 60 to 100 thousand miles, and should be changed accordingly. The easiest way to make sure your timing belt is in working order is to bring it to a local mech…anic.
Timing belts on a Renault Megane 1.5 diesel should be changed every 72000 miles or every 5 years, whichever comes first.
i crashed my 51 pl8 megane today and i had a garage look at it and they said they was sure it had a cam chain. hope that of some help
pin in flywheel down right hand side front of block then fit camshaft pin or 8mm bolt ,then fit 8mm bolt in pump pulley these are the timings marks
Be very careful before you loosen the pulley bolt on the crankshaft. Most of these engines DO NOT have a woodruff key in the crank and once the bolt is loose the crank spocket… is free to move independantly of the crank. Make sure you have the locking pin set (3 pins, one of which is threaded) One goes in the camshaft at around 10 o clock, One in the injector pump. But the most important one is the one that goes into the block just under the starter motor. There is a male torx bolt to undo (fiddly) then the pin is screwed into the block as far as it will go. Now turn the crank shaft clock wise until the crank web just touches the pin and that's tdc. (I find taking the starter out makes it easier to lock the flywheel and mark it for tdc) To loosen the bolt on the crank pulley don't leae any pins in or you'll bend them. Use an air impact driver with the car in first and someone pressing the brake pedal. You can use a long bar but it's tight and you don't want to move the crank too much. Once you have done one it's easy. Sealy make the timing pin kits and some sell on eBay for around 13-15 quid. If your doing a belt then change the tensioner as well.

Timing marks are located on the camshaft of a 1982 Toyota Tercel. The timing marks help correctly align the cams so the cars engine can run properly.
The horn is located behind front panel ,very difficylt to reach without removing fron bumper
no you need timing tools put a timing pin in the block to lock the crankshaft and use the timing tool to lock the cams
remove the bottom cover on the centre consol , in front of the cigarette lighter
