In 1791 his father died then he joined the army. In 1795 he married Anna Symmes and had 10 children. Harrison was a hero during the Battle Of Tippecanoe. He had the shortest term, 1 month and only 32 days. In 1836 he lost the election to Martin Van Buren. In 1840 he ran for president and won. Harrison served as president from March 4,1841-April 4,1841. In 1841 he became the 9th president of the United States. William Harrison died on April 4,1841 just one month after taking office and vice president John Tyler became president. Benjamin Harrison was born on August 20,1833. In 1841 his grandfather William Harrison became president. Harrison's grandfather died just one month after taking office. In 1853 he married Caroline Scott. In 1889 Harrison became the 23rd president of the United States. In 1890 he signed the Sherman Anti Trust Act. In 1892 his wife Caroline died. In 1893 Harrison left the White House and Grover Cleveland became president. In 1896 he married Mary Dimmick. Benjamin Harrison died on March 13,1901 in Indiana.
